BOAH to consider poultry disease control rule at quarterly meeting

 

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indiana State Board of Animal Health (BOAH) will hold its quarterly meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 22 at the BOAH office on the Indiana State Fairgrounds, in Discovery Hall, Suite 100. It is located at 1202 East 38th Street in Indianapolis.

On this quarter’s agenda is the first reading of a proposed rule concerning disease control in poultry, as part of implementation of the National Poultry Improvement Plan. There will also be a report from the state’s Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, as well as regular program reports and an update from State Veterinarian Dr. Bret Marsh.
