Ambia-based group in first
producer-led challenge
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – In recent years, agricultural producers have found innovative ways and opportunities to gather data from their operations. The collection of this “Big Data” is meant to bring insight to how solutions can be found for challenges facing the industry on a producer-level. However, the data alone does not solve practical problems. This is why AgriNovus Indiana recently held its first Producer-led Innovation Challenge, naming a winner earlier this month.
The winner was Team Benton Group from Ambia, Ind., in partnership with iYOTAH Solutions. The team was led by Keith Hoeing, who is a dairy producer himself, and innovator Paul Ousterhout.

OLATHE, Kan. – John Deere has been honored in the robotics category of the 2021 CES Innovation Awards, which recognize outstanding product design and engineering in consumer technology products. This is the second straight year John Deere has received a CES Innovation Award.

Ohio group hauls hay and hope to farmers in need
WOOSTER, Ohio – They call themselves the Ohio Relief Haulers, but maybe a better name for the group is Ohio Hope Haulers. Formed in 2017 by Travis and Brittany Hamlin to help farmers and ranchers affected by the wildfires in Kansas and Oklahoma, the team brings more than feed and supplies. They continue to bring hope to farmers who have suffered from some type of disaster.
