Obituary - Kenneth E. Dean
Kenneth E. Dean
September 26, 1938-March 18, 2013

Kenneth Edward Dean went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2013. He was born on Sept. 26, 1938, in Richmond, Ind., to James E. & Marie (Fraley) Dean.

He graduated from Westmont High School in Hollansburg, Ohio, and attended Miami University. In 1957 he moved to Rushville to work in the family business, the former JE Dean Sales. He was engaged in equipment sales and service, farming and was an active licensed real estate broker at the time of his passing.
He was a member of the Rotary Club and Rushville Church of Christ and was active in many civic and community activities throughout his life.

He leaves behind his loving wife Kathy (nee Bottger) Dean of Rushville; son Terry (Benita) Dean of Hamilton, Ohio; daughters, Cathy Wall, Christie (Roger) Cain of Rushville, Ind., Sharon (Sean) Ferbrache of Indianapolis; stepchildren, Gavin Lienemann, Justin (Lauren) Lienemann, Branden Lienemann and Tracy (Jed) Simpkins; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Abrams of Rushville, also survives.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Kimmel.

A Celebration of Life was Friday at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory, with Pastor Ray Sweet officiating. Burial followed at Rushville’s Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating the committal.
