Parkway FFA holds Fresh Fest
ROCKFORD, Ohio — The Parkway FFA held their first Fresh Fest on Oct. 1. Members played hillbilly golf, washers and cards.
The purpose of the Fresh Fest was to get freshmen to come to see what the chapter has to offer. The officer team made up pamphlets and discussed the many opportunities that members could take advantage of. They talked about SAE’s, state and national convention, chapter activities and more.
“This was a great chance for us to try and get freshmen involved and tell them what the FFA is really about,” said Ashley Gamble, chapter secretary. “Our chapter has a lot to offer if they would take advantage of all of the opportunities.”
