CountryMark returns as FW Expo Renewable Fuels Day sponsor
KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. — The Farm World Expo, in partnership with Farm Credit Services, is pleased to announce the CountryMark Renewable Fuels Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Held on the second day of the three-day farm show, CountryMark Renewable Fuels Day will showcase educators, products, information and research on the growing interest in renewable fuels.

“We, at CountryMark, are looking forward to the Farm World Expo,”” said Steve Thomas, CountryMark sales manager. “This show affords us a valuable opportunity to spend time talking with farmers.”

The Farm World Expo is committed to bringing ag industry leaders and consumers together. Biodiesel and corn ethanol blends continue to be a hot topic. Steve Thomas continued, “We, at CountryMark, want to hear how our fuels and lubricants are performing in different applications and with different equipment. We want to hear from farmers what they want to see CountryMark offer in terms of biodiesel and corn ethanol blended fuels.
CountryMark and our member cooperatives have a passion for quality and innovation.“

CountryMark is a sponsor of Farm World Expo 2009 and will have a tent at the show featuring the latest in CountryMark branded fuels and lubricants, staffed by energy teams from CountryMark and CountryMark member cooperatives.

“By listening to the people who attend these shows,“ continued Thomas, “we know CountryMark will continue to produce and our members will continue to deliver the fuels and energy products that American farmers need.” Based in Indianapolis, CountryMark is Indiana’s only American-owned oil refining and marketing company and it is recognized as a nationwide leader in the distribution of biofuels such as biodiesel and ethanol. In addition to its corporate offices in Indianapolis, it operates a refinery in Mount Vernon and terminal locations in Mount Vernon, Switz City, Jolietville, and Peru, Ind; as well as Henderson, Kentucky. Eighteen individual banded cooperatives distribute CountryMark fuel in and around Indiana.

In addition, these 18 co-ops operate 90 fuel stations located primarily in Indiana, but also in Ohio, Illinois and Michigan.
