Michigan Ag Today launches  a daily podcast

Michigan Ag Today, the premier farm radio network in the state, has launched a daily podcast.  Hosted by Ashley Davenport, well-known farm broadcaster, this is Michigan’s only daily ag news podcast. Episodes are available every weekday morning by 10:30. Currently, listeners can subscribe to the podcast through Apple Podcasts and Podbean. It is coming soon to Spotify, Amazon Music/Audible, Pandora, iHeart Radio and TuneIn. In addition, the podcast is available on the Michigan Ag Today website, www.michiganagtoday.com
“We’re taking the same news, weather, and market analysis listeners know from our daily radio reports and combining them all in one place, so you never miss what’s happening,” Davenport said. “I’m excited to launch this podcast because everyone in ag is on the go – you can take us everywhere to get the information you rely on daily and listen at your convenience.”
The podcast will include the many special reports that MAT produces which cover Michigan’s specialty crops including sugar beets, potatoes, fruits and vegetables.  Every weekday morning, listeners can expect coverage as diverse as Michigan’s crop offerings: field and specialty crop updates from producers, the latest agronomic news, livestock and dairy news, ethanol developments, trade relations, policy updates from Lansing and Washington, and more. Chief Meteorologist Ryan Martin will provide his daily weather forecasts to help farmers prepare for the day and week ahead. Listeners can get market insights from trusted industry professionals such as Rick Hollister, of The Andersons, Karl Setzer, of AgriVisor, Brian Basting, of Advance Trading, Arlan Suderman, of StoneX, and John Zanker, of Risk Management Commodities.
Sponsorship opportunities are available within the podcast. Inquiries can be made to Kim Stockment at 765-588-1520 or kim@hoosieragtoday.com.
Michigan Ag Today is owned by Hoosier Ag Today, LLC, a 15-year-old company specializing in agricultural network operation and information distribution.
