Ag in the Classroom scholarships available for upcoming conference

CHS Foundation is once again offering scholarships to help pre-kindergarten through 12th grade teachers attend the 2021 National Agriculture in the Classroom National Conference ‘Fields of Dreams’ scheduled for June 29-July 1 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. The event will be a “hybrid” conference with an in-person option for educators who can travel and a live streaming/virtual option for those educators who cannot travel.
CHS Foundation is offering 50 scholarships this year. The scholarship covers early registration to the in-person conference of $435. Teachers are responsible for covering their remaining travel costs. To apply for a scholarship, teachers must fill out an application explaining how attending the conference will help them advance agricultural literacy in their classrooms. Eligible applicants are Pre-K-12 teachers who are employed by a school district or private school.
To learn more about the CHS Foundation scholarship program, please visit the online application at Grants and Scholarships (agclassroom.org). To apply for a CHS Foundation Scholarship, please visit 2021 CHS  Foundation Scholarship Application Form (jotform.com). The deadline for applications is April 1.
