Brock Grain announces staff promotions
 
MILFORD, Ind. – Adam Gutwein has been promoted to project manager for Brock Grain Systems, according to Mark Dingeldein, new product development director for the CTB Inc. business unit. In this new position, Gutwein’s responsibilities include design reviews, product support, scheduling, tracking and coordination of new products being developed for Brock.
Gutwein joined Brock as a design engineer in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied physics from Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Trine University, Angola, Ind.
Proficient in Spanish, Gutwein grew up in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, where his parents were in missionary service. He currently resides in Goshen, Ind.
Dingeldein also announced that Craig Smallegan has been named senior structural engineer for Brock. In this new position, Smallegan’s responsibilities will include the design, analysis and testing of new products for Brock.
Smallegan has been employed with CTB since 2015. Most recently, he served as a Brock grain bin design engineer. He is a licensed professional engineer in Indiana and is pursuing licensing for other states.
Smallegan graduated from Trine University with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a minor in structural engineering. He also has a master’s degree in structural engineering and manufacturing engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo.
A native of Demotte, Ind., he currently resides in Leesburg, Ind.
