Soybean cyst nematode management guide available now from North Central
ANKENY, Iowa — Producers can now look to the Soybean Cyst Nematode Management Guide (SCN) from the North Central Soybean Research Program and the Plant Health Initiative for assistance in proper management of the destructive soybean pest.

The fifth edition publication is a comprehensive guide to SCN and how to manage it, and is something every soybean producer may find helpful.

The 16-page color publication covers the importance of SCN, what the pest is, how it affects soybeans, how it interacts with other diseases, what SCN damage looks like, how to send in soil samples and a description of SCN biotypes.
