A private jet belonging to AGCO Corp. crashed in Birmingham, England, killing the company president and CEO, John Shumejda, its senior vice president of sales, Ed Swingle, and three crew members. They had been attending a meeting in Coventry, of AGCO’s British operation. Cause of crash is unknown at this time.

Between 400-500 residents of Orleans Township, Mich., have signed a petition against a proposed egg farm with 2.5 million hens. The farm would have 55 employees and be operated by Midwest Poultry Services LP, based out of Mentone, Ind.
