ILLINOIS
Dec. 7-Feb. 22: Workshops have been scheduled to provide Illinois livestock producers the manure management training they need to meet the requirements of the state’s Livestock Management Facilities Act. The workshops will be held in 12 locations throughout the state. For a full schedule or to register for a workshop, call the University of Illinois Extension at 800-345-6087. The cost is $30. If more than one employee from the same farm signs-up, each registration after the first will cost $20, a $10 discount.

Feb 17: University of Illinois will host the “Food & Agricultural Communications: The Next Frontier” will take place in Champaign, Ill. Space is limited for the symposium and gala. For more information and to register, go to www.agcommevent.com. Final registration is due by Feb. 1.
