Ag Spray equipment can tackle almost any size job

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — Ag Spray Equipment has served the agricultural community for more than 30 years, with locations in Hopkinsville, Ky., Greenwood, Miss., and Dothan, Ala.

Five years ago it expanded into smaller equipment to fill the needs of lawn and garden customers and hobby farmers, now offering small compression sprayers up to 1,650-gallon pull-type sprayers.
“We offer anything to handle liquids from water to fertilizer,” said Dave Staack, manager of the Hopkinsville location.

Agriculture producers will find sprayers of every kind for large fields, low-profile pastures, turf, hay and poultry houses, ATV, skid and utility. Tanks range from 3-20,000 gallons and are available in fiberglass or stainless steel – custom-built for the customer’s needs. Black can be special-ordered to help prevent algae buildup.
Drainable nurse tank units are in high demand, Staack said. Ag Spray offers them with drainable trailers and skids.

“We manufacture our own skids to fit,” he said, adding that drainable skids allow no cross contamination and no end products in the bottom of the skid. Tanks stay clean, preventing a buildup of algae. “They are very user-friendly, and there’s not a lot of maintenance because it’s totally drainable.”

Ag Spray is a distributor for Patriot Equipment, specializing in 110, 220 and 330 bulk seed tenders, two-box seed tenders and the Pathfinder 1,000-, 1,600- and 2,000-gallon all-steer carts with drainable trailer and side or front mounts for tractors.
“Come out and see the best pivot track closer in the industry,” Staack said.

One of Ag Spray’s featured items is the LA9000 liquid applicator, built in response to requests for a high-quality liquid applicator that would meet today’s production needs. The LA9000 has toolbars in 27- to 60-foot widths and is available in 1,000-, 1,250- or 1,500-gallon units with drainable tanks.

“The unit can be built to deliver, for farmers,” he said.
Ag Spray covers every spraying need, including sprayers, trailers, tanks, foam markers, safety equipment, pumps, valves, fittings, strainers, hoses, planters, tips, nozzles, spray guns and more. Anhydrous bars can be custom-built for the end user. Drill and planter kits, pumps, spray monitors, tubing and other planter accessories are available.

Drop by Ag Spray’s booth in the North Wing at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville next week and see a wide variety of its products – about 20 different items representing the company’s commitment to deliver quality equipment to farmers.

Visitors can meet local sales representatives Ken DeVries, serving Michigan and Ohio; Staack, from the Hopkinsville headquarters; John Lewis, serving southern Indiana, southern Illinois and all of Kentucky; and other salespeople from the region.

Ag Spray serves the eastern half of the United States, while sister company Schaben Industries handles the western states. The company is a distributor for Precision Ag products, Raven and T-Jet. Find Ag Spray Equipment and your sales representative online at www.agspray.com or call 800-637-7172.
