WARSAW, Ind. — Denise Schroeder wears multiple hats as Purdue University White County health and human services extension educator, a farm wife and presenter of QuickBooks workshops. She will facilitate a two-day QuickBooks workshop March 13 and 20 for anyone looking to computerize their farm’s record-keeping. Sessions will last from 1-5 p.m. in the Kosciusko County extension office at 202 W. Main Street in Warsaw. Included will be QuickBooks basics that include setting up a company, paying bills, writing checks, paying payroll and payroll taxes and reconciling bank statements.
Registration is $50 and is due March 6. After that, a $10 late fee will be added. Checks can be made payable to: Purdue Extension CES Ed Fund and mailed to: 202 W. Main St. Warsaw, IN 46580. The event, sponsored by Purdue extension’s Women in Ag Team, is limited to 20 participants. Laptops are not required, but participants are encouraged to bring them.
