GROWMARK employees recognized by NCFC BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Eighteen GROWMARK employees were recognized at the 2012 National Council of Farmer Cooperatives’ (NCFC) Information Fair.
Earning first-place honors were: Karen Jones, publications and news specialist, in the News Release and Color Photography categories; Beverly Long, marketing communications manager and Krista Wolf, manager, brand strategy and marketing communications, in the Internal Identity/Awareness Campaign category; and Jenny Haycraft, marketing communications specialist, Barry Nash, weed science technical manager, and Mike Scheer, manager, agronomy marketing and communications, in the Advertising Catalog/Product Guide category.
Second-place honors were given to: Jones in the Speechwriting and Color Photography categories; Amy Bradford, corporate communications manager, in the Multimedia Presentation category; Dorothy Ahlenius, corporate communications and compliance administrative coordinator, in the Annual Meeting Promotional Materials Category; Howard Brown, manager, agronomy services, Matt Hynes, manager, agronomy marketing, and Long in the Advertising or Promotional Booklet category; Cassie Becker, corporate communications associate, in the Organizational/Identity Video category; and Heather Thompson, electronic communications specialist, in the Website category.
Third-place honors were earned by: Jones and Tiffany Loercher, graphic designer, in the Employee Publication category; Jones and Jane White, creative design manager, in the Annual Report category; Dr. Jeff Bunting, crop protection marketing manager, and Long in the Advertising or Promotional Booklet category; Megan Bachman, seed marketing communications manager, Long and Lance Ruppert, FS Seed sales and marketing manager, in the Direct Mail category; and Thompson in the Social Media category.
Honorable mention went to: Jones in the Color Photography category; Bachman, Long and Ruppert in the Advertising Catalog/Product Guide category; Karen Higgins, graphic designer, and Jones in the Advertising Leaflet/Brochure category, and Thompson in the Website category.
Hollinrake Bayer’s VP of Ag Commercial Marketing in U.S. RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Bayer CropScience LP announced David Hollinrake has been named the vice president of Agricultural Commercial Operations (ACO) Marketing for the United States.
In this role, he is responsible for strategy development and execution for the ACO marketing organization and serves as a member of the North American Leadership Team.
Hollinrake most recently served as vice president of Business Development for Adayana, Inc., a training-development and consulting company where he provided strategic direction to support clients in the food, agriculture and healthcare industries. He holds an MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Illinois. He is based in Bayer CropScience’s RTP headquarters office. |
