Expo cancelled, next is in 2008

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The fifth annual Farm World Expo has been cancelled recently by its organizers, who are attempting to shift the event to a biennial format.

The 2007 Expo was originally scheduled for Sept. 6-8 at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds in Terre Haute. However, with the Farm Progress Show in nearby Decatur, Ill. from Aug. 28-30, there wasn’t a need for a second show in the area. The Expo staff is working to bring the farm show back to the fairgrounds on Sept. 5-7, 2008.

“We appreciate your support through the first four years of the Farm World Expo and ask you to mark your calendars for the Sept. 5-7, 2008 show,” said Expo Manager Toni Hodson. “We are working hard to make it a bigger and better show.”

Updated information about the 2008 Farm World Expo will be available online at www.farmworldexpo.com
