Indian Creek FFA Alumni to host calf sale
By DEBORAH BEHRENDS
Illinois Correspondent

AMBOY, Ill. — The Indian Creek FFA Alumni will host its 10th Annual Club Calf Sale at 1 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Lee County 4-H Fairgrounds, on U.S. Highway 30 near Amboy.

The sale will include a nice selection of steers and heifers, with most breeds represented.

Producers from throughout northern Illinois are selling top quality show calves.

The Indian Creek FFA Alumni sale has earned the reputation for being an excellent annual local source to buy show and breeding calves. The sale offers a great opportunity for 4-H and FFA members to purchase quality show calves.

This event has been a successful fundraiser event for the Indian Creek FFA Alumni Chapter through sale profits and the sale day food stand. Profits help sponsor scholarships for FFA members to attend the state and national conventions, leadership seminars and other events, as well as local chapter activities.

The FFA food stand opens at 11 a.m. Cattle will be on display at 11:30 a.m. Lee County Fairgrounds is located on U.S. 30, one-half mile east of it and Illinois Highway 52.

For more information and to obtain a sale catalog, contact sale managers Mike or Lynn Martz at 815-758-2021.
