MT. VERNON, Ill. — Running a farm can be a woman’s world as well as a man’s. The University of Illinois Extension, Illinois Agri-Women, Illinois Farm Bureau, Farm Credit Services and area community colleges are accommodating farmwomen and helping them sharpen their business skills through Annie’s Project.
The Annie’s Project mission is to, “empower farm women to be better business partners through networks and by managing and organizing critical information.”
Ruth Hambelton, a University of Illinois extension educator for farm business management and marketing, will present this series of programs.
