LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Tractor pull fans who think the powerful vehicles at the Championship Tractor Pull (CTP), sponsored by Syngenta, look impressive from the stands will be amazed when they see them up close in “The Pit.”
Open to the public 9 a.m.-6 p.m. inside Broadbent Arena each day of the 41st National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS), “The Pit” gives pull-goers the chance to walk alongside the trucks and tractors, meet the drivers, get autographs, and take pictures of the vehicles.
Fans can also take advantage of this unique opportunity to see first-hand the hard work that goes into preparing these engine-revving beasts before they charge down the dirt track at the oldest indoor tractor pull in the country.
Admission for “The Pit” is free, as it is for the NFMS.
“The Pit” will close at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, in preparation for the 1 p.m. performance.
Broadbent Arena is located next to the Pavilion on the west side of the Kentucky Exposition Center. Tickets for the 38th Championship Tractor Pull, February 15-18, are on sale now at the Freedom Hall Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Friday and Saturday night’s pulls are sold out.
