Aaron Reding obituary 
 
Aaron Andrew Reding, 48, of Hodgenville, Ky., passed away April 12, 2022, at his home. He was a native of West Bend, Iowa, a member of St. James Catholic Church, and an owner and general manager of Homestead Family Farms.
Aaron had a passion for his faith, his family and the agriculture industry. His determination and strength were always evident but especially during his 17-year journey with ALS.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Carr Reding; three children, Kathryn, Andrew and Adam Reding; his parents, Mark and Barbara (Ohde) Reding; three brothers, Mike (Melissa) Reding, John Reding and James Reding; five sisters, Kathy (Eric) Bergren, Anna (Jason Putt) Reding, Ellen (Matt) Falk, Sarah (Eric) Bartley and Sr. Nazaret (Mary) Reding.
His funeral was Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery in Howardstown. Visitation was at Brown Funeral Home.
Two memorial funds have been created to honor Aaron. Should friends choose to contribute, they may do so to either The Aaron Reding Memorial Fund, which will benefit young leaders in agriculture (www.ckcf4people.org), or The Reding Legacy College Fund, which will directly support the college funding needs of his children (www.familyfarmscharities.org).
