Parke County back roads host 23rd annual Covered Bridge Tractor tour

ROCKVILLE, Ind — More than 100 tractors participated in the 23rd annual Covered Bridge Tractor tour on June 27 and 28.
The Parke County 4-H’ers and the Riverton Parke and Parke Heritage FFA assisted with the drive by helping with refreshments during breaks and helping with setups and tear downs.
The tractors and their entourage set up at the Parke County 4-H Fairgrounds near Rockville.
On Saturday the tractors toured the north part of the county and stopped to have lunch at Keystone Cooperatives near Kingman.
On Sunday, the tractors toured the south part of Parke County.
It took more than 45 minutes for the tractors and the trailing support vehicles to pass a location; giving local residents plenty of time to come outside and watch the parade.
