Seed Genetics Direct Wheat Yield winners
 
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ohio — Seed Genetics Direct recently announced its 2026 Wheat Yield Contest Winners. 
First place with 141.1 bushels per acre (BPA) using AGI 244B was Delmar Weiler of East Earl, Pa. He receives credit on $2,500 of seed from Seed Genetics Direct and $2,500 of herbicides/fungicides from Herbicides Direct.
N.S. Farm Service, Nathan and Steve Birkemeier from Columbus Grove, Ohio were second with 128.4 BPA, 57# test weight, AGI114. They received credit on $1,500 of seed from Seed Genetics Direct and $1,500 of herbicides/fungicides from Herbicides Direct.
Third place was Randy Leib from Prospect, Ohio with 124.9 BPA, 60.9# test weight, AGI 310B. Leib was also the test weight winner. He received credit on $1,000 of seed from Seed Genetics Direct and $1,000 of herbicides/fungicides from Herbicides Direct. As Test Weight Winner Leib will receive an additional $500 of seed from Seed Genetics Direct and $500 of herbicides/fungicides from Herbicides Direct.
