Instructions:
Mix the ingredients together well. Form into a loaf, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
Remove the plastic wrap and bake the meat loaf at 300 degrees for about an hour. Use a meat thermometer to be sure you get an internal temp of 165 degrees. Cool on a wire rack.
Cut into thin slices and serve warm in pita pockets. Top with cucumber yogurt sauce.
To make this sauce, use 1/2 cup grated cucumbers and squeeze out the juice in paper towels. Stir this into 1 cup plain yogurt and add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Refrigerate the sauce before serving.
