Instructions:
Brown the ground beef and onions.
Drain off the liquid. Add the steak sauce
and bring to a boil.
Put the cooked meat mixture into
a 1-1/2-quart baking dish. Mix
together the hot mashed potatoes
and the shredded cheddar.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately
15 minutes. You
want to be sure the ingredients
are heated completely. This is
then ready to serve.
Optional: You might enjoy
some sour cream on top of a
serving. Or while it already has
onions in it, some nice chopped
green onion tops would add
some eye appeal and another
level of taste.
You can keep leftovers in your fridge – if
you have any. A quick zap in the microwave
will heat them just right and all the
taste and flavors will still melt on your
tongue.
Pitch-in dinners are still popular with
many folks, and this dish would be well received
although you might need to double
the recipe to feed more people. This could
easily become a family favorite, too.
