2 packages cream cheese, softened 1 tablespoon A.1. sauce, or other steak sauce 1 teaspoon of curry powder 1-1/2 cups minced cooked chicken 1/3 cup minced celery 1/4 cup minced parsley 1/4 cup chopped almonds Party crackers or party bread

Youíll need to beat this together in a mixing bowl. You can mix it by hand with a spoon or fork, or you can use your electric mixer if youíve let the cream cheese soften well. Start by mixing the cream cheese, steak sauce and curry powder. When itís nicely mixed, add the chicken, celery and half the parsley. Blend it together with more mixing. You can wrap it with plastic wrap to get it into ball or log shape. Place the wrapped appetizer into your refrigerator to let it set up in the shape you desire. You should refrigerate the appetizer for a few hours or overnight. To finish off the appetizer, mix the chopped almonds and the rest of the parsley. Unwrap the ball or log and roll it in the almond and parsley mix. This will be a tasty treat for your guests. You may want to double the recipe to make a larger ball or log, or you may just want to have a couple of balls or logs on the table. Be sure to have plenty of crackers or party bread on hand, as this appetizer will be popular. Readers with questions or comments for Dave Kessler may write to him in care of this publication.
