Instructions:
It’s easiest if you use a large nonstick skillet when preparing this dish.
Melt the butter and toss in the mushrooms. Add the lemon juice right away, along with the salt and pepper.
Stir the contents of the skillet and sauté until the mushrooms let down their juices. Usually about five minutes over medium heat will do the trick.
Now add the sugar, herbs and red wine and stir all together well.
Cover your skillet and simmer for another five minutes.
Spoon this over the steak, potatoes or noodles to add some special flavor for the meal. This will jazz up most any dish, and can be used as a tasty side dish as well.
