This is an easy recipe. Just mix the items together and fry in a skillet or on your griddle – that’s it.
Here’s a hint or two to help you get perfect pancakes. Don’t use too much oil, butter or shortening in your skillet – remember, you’re not French-frying them. Try using a minimal amount of oil, butter or shortening and distribute it around on the surface of your skillet by spreading it out with a gob of waxed paper.
You also might try adding some Seven-Up to replace some of the milk. Adding Seven-Up or a similar carbonated soft drink to pancakes helps make them lighter and fluffier.
