On The Go Clam Chowder

Ingredients:
Two 6.5-ounce cans of minced clams 2 medium potatoes, diced, or one 15-ounce can of cooked potatoes, diced 1 cup onion, chopped 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon thyme 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 cups milk and 1 cup cream, or 3 cups milk 2 tablespoons Wondra 1 cup diced ham

Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients in an oven bag, place in the Stove To Go and let cook two to three hours until the potatoes are soft. Squeeze with your hands to mash the potatoes and cook for another hour to thicken the chowder. Chow down and enjoy. You can use these same ingredients to make clam chowder in your Crock-Pot if you wish. Harrington’s cookbook has lots more good recipes for everything from chicken breasts to puddings. Eating healthy meals at the proper times should go a long way toward improving the health and safety of anyone working long hours behind the wheel. This looks like a pretty good invention to me, and some nice stuffed pork chops on the go would always be a welcome treat.
