Instructions:
A two-cup ring mold works just right for the amount of ingredients listed here. You can double this recipe by using a four-cup ring mold, but you won’t need to use any more than the 3 tablespoons of butter.
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and pour it into the ring mold. Sprinkle some salad seasoning and garlic powder on top of the butter.
Arrange the rolls around the ring of the mold. When they bake they will take up the flavors of the seasonings and have a coating of the flavors on what will be the top of the rolls.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Bake the rolls for the suggested time on the package. Usually they will be just right in a little more or a little fewer than 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and turn the ring upside down so the ring of rolls is deposited on your serving plate. The seasoning on what is now the top of the ring will look good and release a pleasing aroma.
While still warm, sprinkle on some of the grated parmesan cheese, if you would enjoy some extra flavorful taste. Serve some softened butter on the side.
It will be an easy pinch-and-pull process to get the right amount of rolls when passing the bread plate around the table. Since the kids made them, they’ll have an extra big appetite for the rolls and you may need to make an even bigger batch the next time.
