Ingredients:
French Fries, nicely browned in a deep fryer Cheese curds, natural or breaded and deep fried Brown gravy

Instructions:
A single serving of poutine consists of a layer of French fries hot from the fryer, allowed to drain on absorbent towels. Place a layer of the French fries on each plate. Then, grab a handful of cheese curds and drop them at random over the French fries, making sure that they are well distributed. Ladle hot brown gravy over the cheese curds and French fries. This is said to help keep the French fries warm while the “damn mess” is consumed. Several restraurant chains in Canada have this on the menu, including McDonald’s, KFC, A&W and Burger King. Well, there you have it – the latest breaking news handed right out of the drive-thru window.
