Ohio Beef Youth Council announces awards, new leadership team
 
MARYSVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Beef Youth Council (OBYC) hosted its end-of-year celebration at the 4-H Center at The Ohio State University, Columbus, on June 5. Officers, members and their families attended in support of these youth’s accomplishments.
OBYC is an Ohio youth education initiative that supports the next generation of beef industry leaders. The initiative provides opportunities for youth to strengthen their leadership and pursue future involvement in Ohio’s beef industry as adults.
The OBYC Stockmanship contest is sponsored by AgCredit, whose support helps make the program and opportunities available to participants across Ohio.  
At the celebration, awards were presented for stockmanship and the fed cattle carcass contests. The OBYC retiring leadership team was also recognized, and a new leadership team was announced. Award recipients, officers and OBYC leadership team members are also listed below:
